ROY EVAN BURSTINER. Born September 6, 1952 in Bronx, N.Y. Grew up in Yonkers, N.Y. where he attended Roosevelt H.S. It was there that his interest in modern & abstract art began. Fascinated by the works in the Museum Of Modern Art, he was deeply influenced by such artists as Miro, Dali, Lichtenstein, Warhol, and especially Peter Max. After high school, he spent the next four years enrolled at the School Of Visual Arts in Manhattan, where he was encouraged to develop his own style. Over the past twenty years his artwork has evolved into the Paintings, Watercolors, & Drawings you see displayed here on this web site. His works have sold both nationally & internationally. Roy now resides in Hawaii where he continues to work on his art.
